I didn't adjust the brightness on the 25th or 26th images (that would be easy to do, didn't look at them ran the process as a batch). I lightened up the photos from the 22nd. Generally folks doing a color-to-bw conversion will use something called Silver Efex Pro. It will do a lot better conversion.
