After dark the lighting is not adequate to get good quality pictures. On Saturday nights it is not a good idea to use flash on the line. The choice is either to quit shooting (which I do often) or accept the fact that the shots are going to be grainy and blurry.
I wanted to try something different so these shots are from the grandstand area using a ladder. The further away from the line the more burnout smoke that needs to be shot through.
